I have a cedar tree from which I can collect needles/scales/whatever you call them, and I also save up herb cuttings. It smells so nice!<br /><br />I'm wondering if what you saw in Georgia's hive was a queen cup - more spherical than peanut-like. It may become a cell. The bees tend to make a few, just in case they need them. Keep an eye on them - if you get a bunch on the bottom, it's probably a swarm warning.
